2011 PROGRESS

4/19/2011 - We have completed 4 workdays and have gotten quite a bit

done.  Seeds have been started, compost laid on most of the planting beds, and considerable

work has been accomplished pulling grass and weeds.  The irrigation lines are almost

ready to lay, and we have our plan completed.  Master Gardeners have shown

up to help, as have SP&GC Club Members (sometimes one and the same).

A couple of volunteers from Lawrence Tech were there today, and several

people from Ferndale came the Sunday before last.  Wednesday workdays will

start tomorrow, although it still feels a bit wintery out there!
